Blog 20: Interview 4 Preparation





1.  Who do you plan to interview?  What is this person's area of expertise?
  • I am planning to interview a sale representation his name is Oskar Ruiz. He is responsible of obtaining new customers into the company currently they obtain the store from "food4less" distributors to expand the company. The reason that i wasn't able to interview him was because of the schedule. 
2.  Post 20 open-ended questions you want to ask an expert in the field concerning your senior project. Your focus should be finding answers to your EQ.


  1. Can you tell me what you do as a sales representative of Don Pedro’s Meat?
  2. As a sales rep you are in charge of selling retail products, goods and services to customers. What are the different strategies you have for the product to be sold? 
  3. From your experience in this industry, what would make a retail product be accepted in the community? And what would not?
  4. What are different ways that a retail product is rejected by the audience?
  5. In this company, what products have been unsuccessful currently or in the past? Why?
  6. How can a food product be successful in the food industry? 
  7. How do you deal with your competition?
  8. What are you doing differently compared to the other sales reps?
  9. How do you convince the buyer to buy the product? Is there a different way to attract the audience?
  10. How can a company maximize profits, while maintaining quality control?
