Blog 11: Lesson 1 Reflection
1. What are you most proud of in your lesson, and why?
I'm most proud of making the time because I really wasn't thinking that i was going to make the time.
2. What assessment would you give yourself on your lesson? Explain why you earned that grade using evidence from the component contract.
AP/P, because I talked to fast and the posters weren't useful for the presentation. I use the word "like" in every time I changed the topic .
3. If you could go back, what would you change about your lesson? How can you use that knowledge to give a better Lesson 2?
If i had the chance to go back, I will tell myself that its okay and you are going to make it on time. I wouldn't mad the posters because i really didn't use them, instead I would use the camera thing to show in the board.

Blog 9 - Advisory Prep 3
1. State whether or not you currently have a mentor, and what the status of your interview is with that person (I have completed the interview, I have scheduled the interview, I have not scheduled the interview, etc).
- I have not scheduled the interview, but I will talk with him and schedule it next week.
2. At this point, your research is probably guiding your studies toward more specific areas within your topic. Name the area or two you find most promising and explain your reasons.
- Management of the Food company: The reason I chose this route was because I want to show the customer, who eating the product, how each of the product goes to different processes.
- How the food can be contaminated or prevent a food contamination: Based on the research I made safety and sanitation of the plantation is a huge issue with the companies reputation.
- How the consumers fully accept the product or enjoy the product: Most of the food business don't provide all of the ingredients with which they used in the product. My mentor has stated that the opinion of the costumers is important because that's where we receive the money.
3. What kinds of sources do you think will help you in the next month to gain more research depth? Where will you go to get them?
- The sources that I think are books based on the food business managing or books base on management available in a library.
- As for component one I will be working in the production room to know how the process of the product is made.
- I want to take online classes from the LA county library based on business ethics, managements, dealing with difficult people will help me on the costumer service, etc.
4. Write down a possible EQ. Please don't worry about wording other than ensuring that it provides the option for multiple correct answers. At this point, the senior team is most interested in understanding your thought process.
- How can a food business fully operate with out no mistakes?
- What is the efficient way that a costumer is enjoying the product?

- One of the room in the company produces four different salsas
- Second production room produces " beef Cecina", which Cecina is a type of meat that is cut into thin and has been salted to add some flavor,
- Third room is where the beef Cecina has already been cut with seasoning and placed in these trays which then the trays are put in this oven.

My mentor want me to do a statue report on each of the function and give him some suggestion on what is the best way so that the production can move faster or be produce faster.
- This experience can help me in my topic by having that point of view where the workers do the production. Also can help me knowing on how efficient each of the room productions are and gather information on how a companies plantation needs to be clean with their equipment.

Blog 7 - Second Interview Preparation
1. Who is your mentor and where do they work? If their workplace does not reflect their expertise, what makes them an expert?
My mentor's name is Andres Jaramillo and owns a business named "Don Pedro's Meat". This business was founded in 2000 and the reason that Andres began a food business was he states in the first interview "everyone has to eat, it a large industry and its a humanly need and always be on demand, also I like good food and since I was little it gave me the interested and thought of owning a food business". As I stated that Andres is the former owner of "Don Pedro's Meat". From a outer point of view I think Andres as my mentor has the expertise because of how hard he been working to build his business, for example if you build a business from scratch, a decade pass, and now your business is successful, you are not going to tell me that throughout that time of period you haven't developed skills and the knowledge, of course you are. Also he attended UCS and receive different degrees on business.
2. What five questions will you ask them about their background?
- When & where were you born?
- What were your motives back then as a child?
- Did your parents have any influence in your education?
- Who brought you to the united states?
- What was the reason that you came to the united states?
- How did you figure out that a food business as the right one?

Through out my senior project right now, it was simple to obtain a mentor because several of my sibling work for him, also I was debating about two topics before school started and came to a conclusion of doing business, and the rest came as we approach the end of the year. In addition, the research is going well because I'm obtaining the knowledge and facts of each article. Plus my mentor Andres Jaramillo recommended me read over the manuals of the accounting system they are at the business and books he considers it will help me on the senior project. The most important reason this experience positive is because of my mentor, without him I wouldn't be able to go through with it and the help of the senior team teachers on explaining what to do on each assessment. Also on me because I choose a topic that will help be on the future as well.
2. What are you finding difficult concerning senior project? How can you adapt to make that portion work better for you? How might the senior team help?
The difficulty on the senior project would be what my senior project will be, for example I am food industry which I can go on the Food Safety & Quality Assurance; Processing Food, Nutrition, Labeling & Packaging, Integrated Resource Management, From the Plant to the Store, From the Store to the Shopper, The Customer Service Chain, or Food Preparation at Home, but I willing to do all of them that's is what I'm debating about. Well all this factor go together so its mandatory that its food industry management. I can adapt to it by talking to people and having different points of view to have the last straw. The senior team can't help because it has to be me who make the choice on what route I want willing to take.
